Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering contributes significantly to the development of industries, as well as to the advancement of our living environment. This Department offers courses in such fundamentals as Power Electronics, Information and Communication Technologies, Optics and Acoustics, Solid-State science, Electronic Measurements, and Computer Science. The goal is to train qualified electrical engineers capable of serving in various fields of global industry and research.

The curriculum is designed with the emphasis on acquiring basic abilities in electrical engineering.
Freshmen will study basic subjects of engineering as well as major subjects like electrical circuits.

The curriculum also focuses on experiments and practice. All students from freshman to senior year are required to study Electrical Engineering Experiments, where students are expected to master the practical knowledge through experiments in small groups with individual supervision by faculty members.

With the increasing importance of qualifications and licenses the Department supports students by serving as an authorized institution for national licenses such as Electrical Chief Engineer's License,so students can study and prepare for obtaining those licenses. As the field of electrical engineering continues to develop and progress, the Department stays at the cutting-edge of the field's research and curriculum, offering such subjects as Nanodevices,Bioelectronics, and Luminous Environment Design.
In addition, the Department provides for advanced computer education, both in software and hardware.
