D. Students will learn to comprehend and express other people’s ideas and opinions, particularly for professional purposes such as writing proposals of engineering solutions generated through group brainstorm sessions. E. Identify the parts of an academic presentation: title, author, abstract, introduction, methods, results, conclusion, and references. Other teaching points could include: discussion, acknowledgements, use of a title slide and a contact information slide in presentation. F. Confluency Factor! The biggest impact on how you speak is YOUR PARTNER! The biggest impact on how your partner speaks is YOU! People are not fluent alone, they are fluent together because they help each other speak in many ways. This is called CONFLUENCY. |
